Payment, Cancellation and Modification Terms

The “Pay Online by Credit Card” option indicates that the rental fee and selected additional services will be paid online. Additional services that are not selected during the reservation process but requested at the time of vehicle pick-up (such as an additional driver, child seat, GPS, etc.) can be paid at the Oney52 Rent a Car rental office during vehicle delivery.

If Oney52 Rent a Car is unable to provide the rental service due to reasons attributable to itself, the full amount paid in advance by the customer will be refunded.

Online prepayments do not include fuel charges, one-way fees, traffic fines, damage costs, or additional protections and services requested during the rental period. For such costs not included in the Prepaid Reservation Form, the customer must present a credit card issued in their own name at the time of vehicle delivery.

Any commissions, exchange rate differences, service fees or similar charges applied by the issuing bank during the refund process are outside the responsibility of Oney52 Rent a Car.

Prepaid Reservation Terms

• In prepaid reservations, the rental date, time, vehicle group and location cannot be changed.
• If a change is requested, the existing reservation must be cancelled. After cancellation, a new prepaid reservation can be created subject to availability.
• Discounts obtained through prepaid reservations cannot be combined with other campaigns or promotions.
• If the rental period exceeds the return date specified in the reservation, additional day charges will be collected from the customer’s credit card at the current Oney52 Rent a Car list prices valid on the extension date.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Cancellations made up to 24 hours before the vehicle pick-up time will be fully refunded.
• Cancellations made between 24 hours and 2 hours before pick-up time will be refunded after deducting one day’s rental fee. (No refunds are made for 1-day rentals.)
• Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the vehicle pick-up time are non-refundable.
• Vehicles will be held for 2 hours from the scheduled pick-up time. If the vehicle is not collected within this period, the reservation will be automatically cancelled and no refund will be issued.
• No refunds are provided for unused rental days after the vehicle has been collected.
• Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days, depending on the bank’s processing time.

Requirements for Vehicle Delivery

If the following conditions are not fully met, the vehicle will not be delivered and no refund will be issued:

• Payment must be made using a credit card issued in the renter’s name. Cash and debit cards are not accepted.
• The required deposit (pre-authorization) amount must be available on the renter’s credit card.
• The credit card must display the name and surname of the person renting the vehicle.
• The credit card must have sufficient available limit for the deposit amount.
• The renter must present a valid driver’s license and their own credit card at the rental office.
• For upper-segment vehicle rentals, two credit cards issued by different banks may be required.
• Customers holding a foreign driver’s license must present their passport.
• If the foreign driver’s license holder has been in Türkiye for more than 6 months, a Turkish driver’s license must be presented.

Reservation Modifications

Modifications are not permitted for prepaid reservations. However, by contacting our customer service team, exceptions may be considered subject to availability. To make any changes, the existing reservation must be cancelled and a new reservation created. The cancellation and refund terms stated above will apply.

Unused Rental Days

If the vehicle is returned earlier than the dates specified in the reservation form after the rental has begun, no refunds will be issued for unused days. Likewise, if the vehicle is not collected at the specified date and time despite a prepaid reservation, the prepaid amount will not be refunded.

Rental Extension

If a prepaid rental is extended beyond the original return date, the additional days will be charged at the Oney52 Rent a Car list prices valid on the extension date.

Oney52 Rent a Car’s Right to Cancel Reservations

Oney52 Rent a Car reserves the right to cancel confirmed reservations if deemed necessary due to reasons such as mechanical failures, accidents, delays caused by previous customers, force majeure or other exceptional circumstances. In such cases, any amount paid by the customer will be fully refunded.
